CHS National Honor Society Requirements
Member Expectations for maintaining membership:
All members must maintain a 3.5 weighted GPA.
All members must remit chapter dues every year.
All members should maintain NHS standards; scholarship, leadership, service and character.
Members must have satisfactory conduct in classes.
Members must uphold moral and ethical principles that demonstrate respect for others.
All members should attend regular monthly meetings. Members should be prepared to stay the entire meeting.
All members must complete 10 or more community service hours each semester. See service hours' forms below.
All members must complete 1st and 2nd semester group service projects (GSP), individual service projects (ISP),
participate in meetings, fundraisers and activities. Students will be placed on probation if they aren't committed to completing the requirements of CHS NHS. Students on probation or those suspended from NHS will not receive graduation stoles. Students on probation
or suspension will not be refunded dues.
